Gettysburg battlefield map goes dark.
This strikes me as a classic battle of Mad Science (Steam Punk if you will) vs New World Order Technomancy.
You see, the spirits of the Gettysburg soldiers have been protected and kept at peace through the Tesla Spirit Coils in the original electric map. Once it's destroyed and the spirit siphons of the new center are in full operation, the spirits of the combatants will rise and be dragged into the apparatus to power to twisted schemes of the Technomancers.
